I wrote my latest e-book “The Seven Fatal Mistakes That Almost Every Business Owner Makes on Their Web Site†as a lead-generation tool to get new subscribers to my e-zine.
I decided to promote it a different way. Viral marketing is a way to promote a service or product exponentially. It’s an effective internet marketing tool designed for one purpose â€" to gain traffic through free or low cost distribution with the intent of gaining the customer to market other products and create brand awareness. Free, as in giving away as a bonus or incentive in conjunction with something else. For example, I can create a handy eBook that is unique and likeable and then give it away free as a promotion or incentive to sign up for my newsletter. You can even sell it. part from buying and selling professionally made eBooks, you may want to think about writing an eBook. Not anyone can do this and market it successfully because the truth is, people can take one look at your downloadable merchandise and determine its worth. Then again, I’ve seen some poor eBooks sold on the internet and have found that by constructing a very professional cover (many hire graphic artists), you can sell almost anything. It’s worth the money to hire a freelancer because people buy what looks good before they actually open the book. Wait! There is a flaw in this though…you’re going to get a bad name if you keep writing mundane eBooks. Some authors don’t even show their name, but then you know right away that they are not interested in promoting their brand or image â€" they want quick profits and will move onto the next project quickly.

What is nice about many of these e-book sale sites is that many are successful; many clicks end up turning into e-book sales. That is why if you are looking to create and sell an e-book or sell an e-book that you already created, you are advised to make your own sales site.

Everyone is busy. No wonder that headline news and internet banner lines get more attention than serious news magazines. This is a world addicted to information but we want it by I.V., fast and focused. E-books give that kind of fast and focused fix to information junkies.
